These opportunities are tailored to address the growing demand for skilled professionals.

Student Scholarship

Developing the next generation of talent is vital to the future of the power transmission/motion control (PT/MC) industry. To help address the growing demand for skilled professionals, the PTDA Foundation has established a student scholarship program.

This program provides financial support to students who are considering or currently pursuing an education in PT/MC related fields. For 2026, up to eight $3,000 scholarships will be funded. The scholarship funds are disbursed directly to the educational institution and can be applied to an open tuition balance.

Note: This scholarship is not available to those currently employed within the power transmission and/or motion control industry or to those seeking graduate level degrees.

Employee Scholarship

Those currently employed full-time at a PT/MC distributor or manufacturer in North America are invited to apply for this scholarship. For 2026, up to six $2,500 scholarships will be funded. The scholarship funds are disbursed directly to the educational institution and can be applied to an open tuition balance. 

Note: This scholarship is only available to those currently employed within the PT/MC industry. If you are not employed in the industry but enrolled in a PT/MC field of study, please consider applying for the PTDA Foundation Student Scholarship.
